The EMF will be running buses from Didcot to Dorchester-on-Thames
for the main evening concert. It will leave Didcot station
45 minutes before the concert commences (6.45pm Friday,
Monday and Tuesday, and 6.15pm Saturday and Sunday).
An EMF steward will be available at the station to liaise
with arriving patrons. A nominal charge will be made
for this service. The return service will leave the abbey
about 15 minutes after the end of the evening concert
and return to Didcot station for connecting rail services.
Our EMF minibus will be based at Dorchester Abbey and
will serve our other three venues, Radley College, All
Saints Church Sutton Courtenay, and Keble College, Oxford,
providing a shuttle service. Full details will be available
from the EMF Box Office at the Abbey. Again, a nominal
charge will be made for this service. |
Parking
A public car park is available in Dorchester-on-Thames at the
Recreation ground which will be signposted from the Abbey.
A shuttle minibus service will be provided to take patrons
to and from the Abbey for the evening concert.

Transport
From Monday to Saturday bus no
106 goes from Oxford Rail Station (stop R4) and St. Algate‚s (stop G2) to Dorchester
Memorial (and vice versa), in some cases changing at Berinsfield.
Please note that there is no Sunday service and there is
no service back to Oxford after the evening concert. The
138 bus also runs from Wallingford to Dorchester and the
140 from Abingdon to Dorchester, Monday to Friday.
