BUS SCHEDULE |

The EMF will be running buses from a local station to Dorchester
before the morning and the main evening concerts. The return service
to Didcot will leave the Abbey about 10 minutes after the end of
the main evening concert for connecting rail services. An EMF steward
will be available at Didcot station to liaise with arriving patrons.
We will also be running a bus from Dorchester-on-Thames to Radley
and Sutton Courtenay for concerts held at those venues. A nominal
charge will be made for both these services. We advise patrons to
check at the box office in case of last-minute, unavoidable, schedule
changes.
The buses will leave from, and arrive, directly outside each venue.
Please ask a member of EMF staff if you have any trouble locating
the stop!

Parking
A public car park is available in Dorchester-on-Thames at the Recreation
ground which will be signposted from the Abbey. A shuttle minibus service
will be provided to take patrons to and from the Abbey for the evening
concert.
Disabled Parking
3 bays at Bridge End, opposite Dorchester Abbey.
Transport
From Monday to Saturday bus
no 106 goes from Oxford Rail Station (stop
R4) and St. Algate‚s (stop G2) to Dorchester Memorial (and vice
versa), in some cases changing at Berinsfield. Please note that there
is no Sunday service and there is no service back to Oxford after the
evening concert. The 138 bus also runs from Wallingford to Dorchester
and the 140 from Abingdon to Dorchester, Monday to Friday.

This is an excellent bus service between Reading and Oxford which stops
on the Dorchester bypass, The service operates late into the night
and on Sundays, so is ideal for non-car owners who want to come to
concerts.
