EM Publishing furthers The English Music Festival’s aim of resurrecting and bringing back into the mainstream repertoire forgotten or overlooked works by British composers.
Items produced by EM Publishing include a musical map of the British Isles and Never Lukewarm (EMP B001), a book of vignettes and personal reminiscences of Sir Granville Bantock by his grandson, Cuillin Bantock. EM Publishing also produces scholarly-critical editions, specialising in the issue of works that have previously existed only in manuscript and thereby making such works available for study and performance worldwide by musicians, musicologists and enthusiasts of English music alike. These scores are prepared to the highest standards of modern scholarship and include bibliographic information on the sources as well as full textual commentaries.
