Each day of the Oxfordshire Festival, the EMF operates a bus service between Didcot Parkway Railway Station and Dorchester-on-Thames.
As we cannot charge for the EMF Bus Service, we instead need to request donations of £10.00 for each run. These donations help to offset the high costs of fuel and the hire of the vehicle. We would be extremely grateful if you could make donations either by sending a cheque or by BACS transfer in advance of the Festival: details are on the Timetable and Seat Reservation Form, which may be downloaded as a PDF by following this link. Otherwise, the driver can accept a cheque or cash donation on the day.
Please note that seats do need to be reserved by means of the downloadable form as spaces are very limited indeed and seats cannot be guaranteed without prior reservation. The Seat Reservation Form, which also includes a timetable, can be downloaded by following this link. The form can be filled in digitally and emailed to em.marshall-luck@englishmusicfestival.org.uk; printed and filled in by hand and a scanned copy emailed to the same address; or printed, filled in by hand, and sent by post to Em Marshall-Luck, The English Music Festival, PO Box 123, Clunton, Craven Arms, SY7 7BP.
If you would like to request an additional journey from Didcot Parkway Railway Station to an EMF event that is not currently served by the timetable overleaf, please email the driver, Ken Dance, at kendance49@gmail.com at least seven days before the start of the Festival and he will accommodate your request if it all possible.
Please also note that Services 2B, 4A and 4B are request services only and the bus will not run unless tickets have been pre-booked for the journey.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Festival at Dorchester-on-Thames in May.
* THIS BUS WILL NOT RUN UNLESS TICKETS HAVE BEEN PRE-BOOKED FOR THE
JOURNEY.
† APPROXIMATE TIME ONLY. BUS WILL LEAVE TEN MINUTES AFTER THE END OF THE
PERFORMANCE.
TIMES MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE TO ACCOMMODATE ANY CHANGES IN THE RAIL TIMETABLE
